Redbreast Tawny Port Cask Edition is a limited edition Irish whiskey from Midleton, County Cork, Ireland. It's made by first aging the whiskey in a combination of bourbon and oloroso sherry casks, then finishing it in Tawny Port casks, and finally maturationing it in freshly seasoned tawny port hogsheads. The whiskey has notes of buttered pastry, caramelized almonds, praline, dried cherry, scented floral honey, and herbal character. It has a rich, nutty taste with notes of chocolate, hazelnut, and salted caramel, and a lingering finish of spices that fades to tawny seasoned oak.
